Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the tldw.news website, newsletter, and public interfaces.

Effective date: October 11, 2026

1. Scope and provider

These Terms of Service govern your use of the tldw.news website, the newsletter, and the publicly available machine-readable interfaces (together, the "Service").

The Service is provided by Andrea Tarzariol, Carl-Zeiss-Str. 15, 85521 Riemerling, Germany, email: tarzariol@gmail.com.

By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. The Service

tldw.news is a free editorial publication for engineering leaders. The Service summarizes publicly available videos and other sources and publishes them as articles, daily and weekly briefs, and a newsletter.

Content is also available in machine-readable formats such as llms.txt, Markdown views, agent skills, and an MCP endpoint.

There is no entitlement to any particular availability, scope, or continued operation of the Service. We may change, limit, or discontinue features at any time.

3. AI-assisted content and no advice

Summaries, scores, and briefs are produced with the help of AI systems and editorially curated. Despite our care, they may be incomplete, condensed, outdated, or inaccurate, and may not reflect the original source exactly.

Content is provided for general information only. It is not legal, financial, technical, or other professional advice. Please verify important statements against the linked original source.

4. Third-party content and YouTube

The Service links to and in some cases embeds third-party content, in particular YouTube videos. Third-party content is the sole responsibility of its creators and providers. Rights in the original videos remain with their respective creators.

The Service uses YouTube API Services. By using the Service, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms). Processing by Google is governed by the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).

We are not responsible for external links. If we become aware of infringing content, we will promptly remove the relevant links or content.

5. Newsletter

The newsletter is free. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email or via the unsubscribe page on the website.

Our Privacy Notice explains how we process your data in connection with the newsletter.

6. Acceptable use

You may use the Service for personal and professional information purposes. Automated access is permitted through the interfaces published for that purpose (such as llms.txt, Markdown views, and the MCP endpoint) and in accordance with robots.txt.

In particular, you may not:

  • use the Service in a way that impairs its availability or security, for example through excessive requests;
  • circumvent security or access controls such as Cloudflare Turnstile or protected administrative areas;
  • misuse the contact form or newsletter signup for spam, other people's email addresses, or unlawful content;
  • copy the Service's content wholesale or systematically and republish it as your own competing offering.

7. Copyright and quotation

Texts, briefs, scores, and website design created by tldw.news are protected by copyright to the extent they qualify for protection. Third-party content is identified as such.

You may quote individual pieces of content within the limits permitted by law, provided you credit tldw.news as the source and link to the relevant page. Any other use requires our prior consent.

8. Sign-in and administrative area

Sign-in with Google or GitHub is intended solely for authorized persons who administer the Service. Public user accounts are not currently offered.

Authorized persons are responsible for keeping their credentials confidential. We may revoke access at any time, in particular if misuse is suspected.

9. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body, or health, and under the German Product Liability Act.

For slightly negligent breaches of an essential obligation, meaning an obligation whose fulfillment makes proper performance possible in the first place and on which you may regularly rely, our liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of service. Liability for slight negligence is otherwise excluded.

Because the Service is provided free of charge, statutory liability privileges for gratuitous services remain unaffected.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may amend these Terms with effect for the future, for example when we add features or the law changes. The current version is published on this page with its effective date. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, this choice of law applies only to the extent it does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of your country of habitual residence.

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

12. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be sent to tarzariol@gmail.com or through the contact form on the website.
